Jas’s first steps into the world of comedy occurred at ASU, where he joined the ASU “Farce Side” comedy troupe as a writer.  there he learned to tighten his writing to convey different ideas to a variety of audiences.  Jas wound up having many sketches in the “Best of Show”- something he would arrogantly brag about to anyone willing to listen…and not run off screaming, which happened quite often, sadly.

Jas began doing stand-up, after graduating ASU with a minor in ethnic literature and a major in psychology.  Which pretty much eliminated all racial or stereotype jokes from his arsenal :(  “Have you ever noticed how white and black people formulate theories to justify their behavior- what is the deal with that!?”   

Jas Quickly developed a reputation as a comic‘s comic for his material and applauded writing.  Jas would later join "The Mixed Nuts" improv troupe to help with his stage performance and improve his comedy.  Jas now incorporates crowd work into his stand-up and will often pull people on stage- despite their pleas to not be included.

Jas has performed in corporate shows and rooms all over the southwest.  And is now performing anywhere and everywhere- Look for him in your town.
